PAVEMENT ENGINEERING
I am a graduate research assistant for the National Center for Asphalt Technology and a Civil Engineering PhD student in the Pavements and Materials program at Auburn University. I am passionate about pavement engineering and data analytics. Here, you will find more about my research work and experience in this field.
Roads have been fundamental transportation assets for multiple eras, acting as the main contributor to the development of commercial and communication activities. Specifically, pavement engineering is not only the design and construction of structures capable of supporting traffic loads, but also structures capable of providing safety, comfort and economic benefits to users and administrations. Consequently, engineering solutions for this field must encompass principles of sustainability, resilience and innovation for an assertive development.
